The beginning of 3DDD
In May 2023, Drs. Campos and Haristoy, not only colleagues but also old friends, reunited in Boston where they began to develop the idea of offering a unique and special service, always seeking to be a contribution of the specialty to the work of the dentist and its impact on the patient; Thus, at the end of 2023, integrating experience in the academic area with experience in the private/commercial field, DIGITAL DENTAL DIAGNOSTIC was born.
Rodrigo obtained his DDS from Concepcion University in Chile in 2003; In 2004 he did his first training in OMFR at Valparaiso University. In 2005 he started his first OMFR Imaging Center in his hometown of Concepcion, Chile. In 2006, not only did Rodrigo incorporate one of the first CBCT units in the country, but he also started working as a faculty at Conception and Desarrollo Universities, and later earned his masters in Health Administration at Desarrollo University. In 2007, after obtaining the “President of the Republic” scholarship awarded by the government of Chile and with the support of the Desarrollo University, Rodrigo and his wife Carolina (DDS and Pediatric Dentist) moved to States to begin his US training in OMFR combined with a MDSc at University of Connecticut, Health Center. In 2011 Rodrigo, Carolina, and the new born Emilia decided to return to Chile where they would resume their development in private practice and at the university level. After more than 10 years Rodrigo has developed one of the largest private OMFR practices in all of Chile, with more than 30 CBCT equipment installed in several cities in his country. In 2022, Rodrigo and Carolina decided to move for a second time to the US, where they looked to repeat the experience they lived more than 10 years ago.Carolina received a job offer from the University of Maryland Dental School, so they moved with their two daughters, Emilia and Maria. Currently Rodrigo is residing in the state of Maryland, where he enjoys spending time with his family and participating in sports, like the endurance races that have become part of his life (triathlons, marathons, gran fondo, among others).
Dr. Campos received his D.D.S. degree from Central University of Venezuela in 1996 and then earned a Master in Orthodontics degree from the same school in 2002. He was a Professor in the Orthodontics postgraduate program and Oral Radiology Course at the Central University of Venezuela. In 2011, he moved to Farmington, Connecticut to begin a Master in Dental Sciences degree as well as a Certificate in Oral Maxillofacial Radiology from the University of Connecticut which he completed in 2014. In July 2014, he was appointed as a faculty member at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he earned his D.M.D degree. At Tufts, Dr. Campos is an Associate Professor and Division Director of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. He teaches Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology in the classroom as well on the clinic floor for pre-doctoral students. He is also an instructor for the postgraduate Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology course. Dr. Campos teaches at Harvard School of Dental Medicine as a Volunteer Faculty at the Department of Orthodontics. Dr. Campos is an active member of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (AAOMR) and Board Certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. When Dr. Campos is not reading CBCT cases, he enjoys spending free time with his wife and two kids, taking pictures and watching movies with them.

We provide Cone Beam Computed Tomography scans, Panoramic Radiographs and Intraoral Radiographs interpretations services.
Analysis and diagnosis of the entire volume (FOV) describing any pathology or incidental finding present in the CBCT scan or Radiographic image. If CBCT scan is submitted for evaluation for implant treatment planning, reports also includes measurements of bone height and width of all requested implant sites and tracing of the Inferior Alveolar Nerve Canal. Your CBCT report, portfolio of images, and DICOM files can be accessed from any computer and are available in the Webpacs for 10 years.
